We have decided to go the extra (nautical) mile in search for the picture perfect pristine Beach with a bungalow, a hammock and an ocean with a sunset. So far we have had quite a hassle trying to picture the beaches without ten thousand Swedish people drinking buckets, turning into lobster-colored, drunk singlet-wearing tourists.
Thailand has come a long way from the unspoilt, cheap paradise it once was, and not always in a good way. But we think that we have found it now...Koh BuBu (just the name sounds adorable and full of cute promises) is a small island off Koh Lantas east beach, with one bungalow operator and one restaurant. Very quiet and, hopefully, full of hammocks and sunsets.
We will go there tomorrow if they have a spare bungalow for us, and come back the day before Xmas, which in Sweden is the 23rd.
After that we promise to bring you new reports and pictures of our adventures, which includes the horrible night boat from Koh Tao to Surat Thani...
We suspect there is no Internet on this island..let's see how that goes!
